If you’re ready to learn to decorate cakes, this class is for you! This is a 4-hour class broken into two 2-hour sessions. Students will start by learning to level, fill, crumb coat and final ice their cakes in buttercream icing; Students will receive an American Buttercream recipe, learn how to make and color buttercream, and learn to pipe borders and accents in buttercream icing; Students will also learn tips and tricks to smooth buttercream icing as well as several buttercream textures and piped decorations including roses, rosettes, writing and more! Completion certificates will be awarded at the end of class. Intermediate Cake Decorating will be offered after the completion of this course.

All tools and supplies are provided. All skill levels welcome. Gluten Free not available for this class.

Our adult classes are best for those 16+, but younger students are welcome with instructor approval. Each two-hour session is packed with tips and tricks to help you achieve decorating success at home! All supplies are provided; Edible items created in class are sent home with students. Advanced online registration is required. Classes are nonrefundable and no-shows will not be transferred to another class. Class size is limited; Only ticket holders may be in the classroom.
