About All Things Cake

All Things Cake began with a whisk, a little bit of free time, and a whole lot of creativity. Owner and founder Janette Stenstrom was working as a financial planner when the 2008 economic downturn changed her path. What started as a casual hobby—taking cake classes at craft stores and baking for friends and family—quickly grew into a passion and huge source of joy for Janette. After being laid off from her finance job after the crash, she took a leap of faith, wrote out a business plan, and opened the doors to All Things Cake in March 2010.

Now, more than 15 years later, All Things Cake has become Tulsa’s go-to destination for custom cakes, creative decorating classes, and a personalized bakery experience. Janette still teaches every class, which remains her favorite part of the job. She also leads a team of full-time decorators who bring show-stopping cakes to life.

From intricate 3D sculpted designs to simple dessert cakes, everything we make is baked fresh, never dry, and always full of flavor. We are known for our attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the personal touch that comes from being an owner-operated bakery. You’ll find Janette in the kitchen or classroom most days!
